Chicago Cucumber Seeds (Pickling Type)

Heavy yielding plants are loaded with perfectly formed, deep green fruit with black spines. The thin skin allows for ready absorption of pickling solutions and while fruit can be allowed to reach up to 12.5 cm (5″) in length without sacrificing quality, they are most often picked at a much smaller size for the “best gherkins” this side of Chicago! Resistant to scab and cucumber mosaic virus. Introduced in 1888.
